  Happy Mother's Day to all you mothers....what a wonderful day to just stop and count our blessings...blessings of family, home and friends. A day to count our blessings...and name them one by one and it will surprise you what the Lord hath done. Hubby and I are staying home ...grandson Trevin came yesterday and did our yard work and we have been enjoying our backyard. Today we were to be out camping but it did not work out so instead of being sad we will just enjoy being home. We love Mexican so I am ordering take out from El Sombrero for dinner. We went shopping a couple days ago and hubby got me a few pieces of watermelon dishes. A large pitcher and salt and pepper shakers. Of course, I liked them and suggested it, so all is fine. Please enjoy your families...take time to really enjoy them...life is short.... things happen....I know several families who are grieving this day...my heart breaks for them. Our son in law lost his mother on Mother's Day a couple years ago....

 We are on this journey and it seems to be a whole lot involved with it.  Decisions that a person must stop and face.  One is on my mind today and that is ......our home.  When we purchased this home 21 years ago we were thinking about living in it for about 5-8 years and then selling.  But it became home.  So we have stayed.   Now, that we are dealing this these diseases it's time to take another look at our home.  It is two levels, so stairs....and it also has a drop down extra living room with 3 steps down and on the other side a two step up to kitchen.  Now with hubby starting to have walking and standing issues...and dizzy problems.  Time to rethink.. Of course I think it's no problem for me...I got this but the laundry room is in the basement with two more bedrooms, family room and pantry.  So I go up and down these stairs all day long.  And I am getting older so decisions. Do we sell?.....do we stay put until things...

  Been out shopping since 7:30 am so many good buys....walmart has all their christmas gift bags at 75% off....I got some for $.14.....I always purchase the ones without any saying or definite designs...then I can use for any holiday or gift and add my own designs....also check out the stores they are getting in all their lawn and garden items....I picked up a lot of garden seeds...last year I waited to late and didn't get many....here's a tip...stop at the dollar store and purchase a small photo album...add the garden seed packets and label with the date...now you can see what you have and how old they are....
