Our little vintage camper "1967 Maizy Bell" 10 feet long

We have had our little camper now for about 3 years.  We picked it up for $1400.  It had been in a shed in a small town called Weippe, Idaho. The previous owners had taken out some of the paneling and replaced it with different wood.  It had a composting toilet that was very old in it and had a stove, oven ice box 4 burners.  We removed the ice box, toilet and actually the stove and oven were in really good condition. We painted everything inside with a white rustoleum enamel oil based paint. I love this paint when it dries it has a nice hard finish and the white has a tint of gray to it so it is not just white white. Now it did take us about 4 coats to cover everything. We purchased a apartment size refrigerator and replaced the ice box.  It is only electric but that works for us. We have removed all propane lines so we do not have any in the camper but we left the oven and stove in case down the road we decide to add it back. If we do we will have it professio...

Making a trash hauler out of an old vintage seed spreader

Grandkids and I went shipping today to the thrift stores, we were just out killing time and I also have been on the look out for something that I could make over.  We go camping quite a bit and we are always a long ways away from the campsites trash cans.  So I wanted to get something vintage that I could work over and make my own.  So grandson took the extra metal strip to make the blades move off and then we removed the blades inside the spreader...now we will place a metal strip over the axles and make it safe for little fingers to reach the garbage sack. The color of our 1967 vintage Bell camper is sunburst yellow by rustoleum.  I love, love, love the color.  So I after washing the spreader and giving it a good scrub.  I am now painting with a brush.  This will take at least 3 coats of paint. So finished painting used rustoleum sunburst yellow and silver...touch upped with rustoleum black. Added a plastic bin that can be taken out and washe...

New Material for 1967 Bell Camper doing it with flowers

Picked up this really cool material ....for our 1967 vintage camper...not really sure what I am going to use it for but it makes me happy when I look at it. Thinking about a tablecloth, dishtowels, pillow or making a banner with it.......so what I will do is lay it out somewhere where I have to walk past it for a few days and then it will come to me....
