Working on crocheting doilies

Had a client write and ask us to make her and orange crocheted doily.  Well, I haven't crocheted a doily using crochet thread for quite a while so this would be an undertaking for me.  So I researched some patterns from some old crochet books to see what I could find that wasn't to hard but doable.  We had to order in some pumpkin 100% cotton thread.  Here in our small town we have a Walmart but they only carry a little of the white thread.  So to get the pumpkin color we had to order in 3 balls.  I now have plenty of pumpkin.  This doily starts out basic and then goes into clusters of wheat.  Each little row working out to the ends are clusters of wheat.  Most of this pattern is done in sc, dc, and dctr crochet...so not hard.  You just have to remember to keep counting.  You don't want your doily to start curling.  That would be from to tight of stitches or to many stitches.  So had to keep my count accurate.  When almost done this doily is going to be 18
