 Our Lewy Body Dementia and Parkinson disease journey....stages

We had such a fun time in Nampa at our daughters home....4 youngest grandchildren running and playing....we were so busy....we also had hubbies appointment with the neurologist....wasn't a bad appointment but we were made to know some things that are happening....hubby is retaining water....he has gained 15 pounds in the last 4 months and mostly the last couple weeks....has extremely high blood pressure...the problem is if they give him a blood pressure med with a water pill than the problem of his bladder is worse ...his bladder problem is getting worse daily...good news is daughter and I went shopping for supplies to take care of the issues but didn't purchase them at the appointment our doctor said she could get them covered with our insurance through Norco so we will be receiving supplies soon...problem getting hubby to wear them.....he is shutting down more all the time....not much strength and not much vocal...she is going to get respite care to come in now this is different than hospice care.....she wants me to place him as soon as I can somewhere for 24/7 care....nothing in the valley here for him....I am keeping him a little longer to see what we can do...she told us hubby is in beginning stage of late stage dementia this is where things go fast and go downhill more every day....his organs will slowly go down.....oh how I want to stop this slide....somewhere somehow something has to work.....but Doctor says NO....yes I ask the Lord why...I am sure many of you have with your loved one....but then it comes to me trust....I know our Lord makes no mistakes and he has all our days numbered.....but ....life....God bless all of you and please take care of yourselves and your loved ones....forgive, forget and love your family....

 We moved into our home about 15 years ago at that time we decided to place a walkway down through the yard to a firepit.  Our family loves to sit around the backyard fire and roast hotdogs and marshmallows.  We haven't done much to the walkway except spray it once in a while with weed kill but today we decided it was time to remove and repair.  So we began to dig out the bricks..it was amazing how some were buried and some were broken.  They all were beginning to sink down deeper and deeper. There was a lot of moss that had even grown over the top of them.  But hubby and I worked together and got them all dug up.  The pathway went from the deck to the firepit ring.  All of these bricks have been recycled we would watch for free ones.  Sometimes just driving down the road there would be bricks with a sign take all you want.  So some of these bricks have different says on them.  We also enjoy using our dutch ovens....

  I don't know if any of you facing these diseases have these problems, but I need to talk with the neurologist for some answers...mercy. Hubby has this crazy idea that he needs to search the house for things. I purchase a new vacuum because the belt broke on the old one. I got the same one but decided to keep one for downstairs and one for upstairs. So I put the old one way back in the furnace room until I can fix it and the new one up front easy to get to. Hubby is determined to climb back there and always get the old one. He moves the new one to get to the old one. I hide some shampoo that I wanted to give to daughter as it doesn't work good for hubby and I. He finds it somehow and starts using it. I hide some spray paint its the kind that will change a object into a mirror...he found it and sprayed it on lumber in the yard. Mercy...drives me crazy. Just saying....I told him we are going to Nampa on Thursday...to see the doctor. He got really mad that night at me b...
