 It's so crazy how our lives change...for 40+ years this time of year I am working on my vintage campers. I love getting it all dressed up and ready for the camping trips of the year. This year life has changed so much that I just look at things and walk on by. I would always think of a theme and then shop for items and work the insides of the camper over for that theme. Hubby has changed and I guess I have changed. For the good I am not sure. But I look at so many things with a different eye, now. Even plans for the backyard have changed. Maybe closer to Spring I will get my mojo back but for now. No interest....I do more wondering around in circles than getting things done. Well have a great day and try to smile and make someone else's day...God bless...

Removing and replacing our old pathway

 We moved into our home about 15 years ago at that time we decided to place a walkway down through the yard to a firepit.  Our family loves to sit around the backyard fire and roast hotdogs and marshmallows.  We haven't done much to the walkway except spray it once in a while with weed kill but today we decided it was time to remove and repair.  So we began to dig out the bricks..it was amazing how some were buried and some were broken.  They all were beginning to sink down deeper and deeper. There was a lot of moss that had even grown over the top of them.  But hubby and I worked together and got them all dug up.  The pathway went from the deck to the firepit ring.  All of these bricks have been recycled we would watch for free ones.  Sometimes just driving down the road there would be bricks with a sign take all you want.  So some of these bricks have different says on them.  We also enjoy using our dutch ovens....

  Our morning has been crazy.....hubby and I got up early to go pull weeds along our fence.....we got them pulled ....worked on laundry...picked up grandkids....came home and worked in the kitchen and then hubby says "o I forgot to tell you I lost my hearing aid"....he has a special $5000 hearing aid....good grief.....so granddaughter Ariell and I are in a panic...outside looking inside looking....crawling on the floor where he changed clothes......everywhere.......finally I decide I need coffee..........exhausted from looking and there beside the coffee pot is the hearing aid......crazy part is hubby very seldom drinks coffee....mercy....... Lately I have found things put everywhere.....he tries to help but can't remember where things go........weird things in the refrigerator.....dirty dishes in the cupboards, tools all over etc.....just part of the package...I don't even say anything any more...I just go behind him and change things back.....part of life...
