Our little vintage camper "1967 Maizy Bell" 10 feet long

We have had our little camper now for about 3 years.  We picked it up for $1400.  It had been in a shed in a small town called Weippe, Idaho. The previous owners had taken out some of the paneling and replaced it with different wood.  It had a composting toilet that was very old in it and had a stove, oven ice box 4 burners.  We removed the ice box, toilet and actually the stove and oven were in really good condition. We painted everything inside with a white rustoleum enamel oil based paint. I love this paint when it dries it has a nice hard finish and the white has a tint of gray to it so it is not just white white. Now it did take us about 4 coats to cover everything. We purchased a apartment size refrigerator and replaced the ice box.  It is only electric but that works for us. We have removed all propane lines so we do not have any in the camper but we left the oven and stove in case down the road we decide to add it back. If we do we will have it professionally upgraded and installed. The electrical had been partly removed and partly broken so we pulled most of the wires out.  We installed a box on the outside and we just run a electrical cord out so we can plug it in the to box. This is only 10 feet long so not a lot of current is needed for the inside. The refrigerator runs on its own electrical cord straight to the outside box.
We decided we did not need a table in our camper as we do almost everything outside. So we made the table into a permanent bed.  We wanted at least a full size bed so we moved a couple cabinets over a few inches purchased a full size mattress and memory foam.  Very comfortable bed now and works for us. We always take a lamp but I also string solar lights around in the camper it gives it such a homey feeling. The bathroom is 22"x30" enough room for a small stand to hold the toilet paper and a few accessories and a porta potty.  We only let the grandkids use the porta potty but it has come in handy a few times. The front is the kitchen and the back is the bed.
We were on our way on a 3 hour road trip to Wallawa Campground in Oregon.  We stopped on rattlesnake grade to get some cold drinks out of the refrigerator. We pull our camper with a 2004 Dodge Ram which my hubby loves because he has room in the back of the truck for firewood, bikes and whatnot.
I made the awning for our camper but to be honest we don't use it much, we tend to just pop up the canapy and use it. But I do take way to many things when I go camping.  I have so many fun things that I like to take but slowly the more trips we take the less outside items are being taken with us.
Hubby here when we stopped to get some cold sodas out of the camper.  We have completely enjoyed this camper and it has everything we need in it.  Many people stop and ask to look inside and comment on it to us.  It has been so much fun.  Our newest toy is I added a 19" TV and DVD player so we can watch old Hallmark movies when it rains outside. If you are interested in remodeling one of these it is so fun.  We have done 2 now but this one was our first and we will always keep it.
