 All our decorations for our Christmas tea table at our church.....our theme was HoHoHo but any theme could be used.

 Our theme for this year Christmas tea at our church was Ho Ho Ho.  We worked hard and made a lot of our decorations.  We made the centerpiece out of a vase from a yard sale, spray painted it red.  We went to the $1 store and got 2 Christmas stockings and cut the red off and kept the white fur and placed on each end of the vase.  We then made the buckle out of a wooden hash tag and designed the belt.  At other yard sales we purchased greenery, white icicles and canes.  My hubby was our server.  Plates are from walmart and the chargers are metal tins from Big Lots.  Embroidered the napkins with snowflakes.

 So hubby and I were talking how long has it been since we went on an old fashioned picnic.  Just the two of us and no camper, no restaurants, just a packed picnic lunch.  We have a very small BBQ so hubby said he would get it ready and we can cook our brats on it.  I will take all the fixings in small containers.  We love deviled eggs and what a great way to take them on a pic nic.  Going to make small no bake cheesecake for our desserts.  Putting them into these small jars is such a great idea.  Making these personal salads except we will be adding the forks at the lake. Doesn't this sound so good watermelon lemonade.  Never tried it but can't wait.  All this pictures are on pinterest with there recipes.  Check them out and show the original posters some love by liking their pages.  I am making all of these so getting a shopping list ready.  We will be going to picnic at one of the lakes in our area.  Two of our transistor radios that we have had for lots of years.  I remember as a young girl we could buy these for $3 each.  They were so fun and we thought we were so cool.  We could only get about 2 stations but we didn't care.  The one I remember the most is this red one with the cover on it.  I always loved the smell of the cover when it was new.  When I dug these out the other day they brought back a lot of memories. We are selling these now in our ETSY shop as we are clearing out boxes, cupboards and shelves as we are retired now and some things just need to go

  Won't be long and hubby will be going to work in the hay fields again....which he can't wait for....so we are just finishing a few more projects....gotta keep the man working....anyway I finally found what I wanted to do with a very very old lantern...it has been hanging on the patio for about 10 years....oldest son Jason disconnected it last time he was home because he said it was dangerous....someone had made it electric years and years ago...so old cracked wiring.....I just thought it was a good place for it until I decided what I wanted to do with it...several electricians tried to talk me out of it....but no not me ...when I like something I like it....so today hubby took it down and I will clean it up and rewire it with a smaller bulb and it will have a new home in Maizy Bell

We take baby panels and put fiber fill and backing on.  The measure 38" x 45" and are machine washable and dryable. We then hand quilt around each item and make them so pretty. After quilting them we then hand tie each of the 3 layers together. You can find these on sell in our ETSY shop. Some have already sold and we are adding new ones monthly. They work for either boy or girl. This one I loved but is more for adults.

 Just a couple of our vegan friendly soaps...here is  Coffee Kitchen Soap a heavy dose of strong coffee grounds in soap acts as a deodorizer. Used in the kitchen, it removes the smell of garlic and onion from the hands. Great for chefs and those who look to cook. Dark coffee grounds and powdered cocoa. ingredients...............saponified oils of soybean, olive, coconut & shea butter. Essential oils: none Botanicals: freshly ground coffee beans, powdered cocoa. Color: a hint of brown and black oxides.   Minty Eucalyptus just a straight eucalyptus oil with a touch of Peppermint oil for jazz. this soap and was created after several customers requested a little more SOMETHING added to the plain eucalyptus soap. Bright green in color with flecks of spearmint leaves and peppermint essential oil blended with the eucalyptus. Men love this one.

Today was sunny and bright out but a cold wind was blowing.   So I went to work on the house....stripping down wall paper that I put a few months ago and thought I would love it.  Well, I lived with it and today it all came down.  All over.....hubby came home and said "what in the world".  I told him I found a paint scrapper and it had to come down. I then went to work on our dining room table...it was oak and I painted it over 6 years ago white....been looking at it and wanting to take time to strip down the top and make it oak again....so today was the day.....sanded and sanded.... I then looked at our side table in the dining room...this is an older stand and I love all the detail...but I have so many vintage dishes and just dishes.....I went looking over the house and found an old shelf that has 5 shelves on each side....so I lugged it up the steps and heaved it onto the stand....but then I was afraid it might fall so I had to attach it to the wall.   After a co
